30-Day Core Return Policy:
- You have 30 days to return your core. If not returned within this period, you will be charged the core's full value.
- Core refunds are only issued if the core was paid for upfront.
Scheduling a Core Return:
- Contact Go Powertrain to schedule your core return when it's ready for pickup.
- Do not ship the core independently—freight charges will be your responsibility, and reimbursement won't be possible if the return isn't coordinated through us.
Core Return Requirements:
- Drain all fluids before shipping; leaking cores may incur additional cleaning and disposal fees.
- Core Drain Fee: $200 if not fully drained; customer is responsible for any EPA cleanup fees.
- Use the original container (crate, box, or tote). If using a pallet, securely strap the unit.
- Report any damage when scheduling pickup—deductions may apply.
- Ensure the core is fully assembled and visually remanufacturable to qualify for full credit.

Pickup Process:
- After contacting us, we'll provide a Bill of Lading (BOL) via email or fax.
- Print 3 copies of the BOL:
- Attach one to the unit
- Give one to the driver
- Keep one for your records
- Verify BOL details match the core to avoid delays.
- Provide us with tracking information after pickup.
Processing Timeline:
- Allow 10–14 business days for core refunds (includes transit time and check-in process)
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Haven't received your refund within 14 business days? Contact our Core Department, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
Core Refund Requirements:
Fully Assembled Cores:
- Must match the same build level as the replacement part.
- Disassembled cores may receive partial credit with a 30% deduction.
Matching Part Numbers:
- Core must have the same part number as the purchased unit.
- Non-identical cores may result in a 100% charge or no refund.
Damaged Cores:
- Broken or cracked welded cases: 50% deduction from core credit.
- Blown Front-Wheel Drive Differentials: Cores with cracks or holes will incur a deduction (amount TBD).
Missing Components:
- Missing Torque Converter: Core charge applies (amount TBD).
- Missing Protective Shipping Brackets: $20 fee per missing bracket.
Tote Returns:
- Units shipped in a tote must be returned in the same tote.
- $150 charge for missing totes.
Drain Fee for Leaking Cores:
- $75 cleaning/disposal fee if fluids leak during transit or at our facility.
- EPA cleanup fees may apply if required during transport.
Core Inspection & Refunds:
- Refunds are based on the conditions above.
- If damage or discrepancies are found, we'll provide digital photos and detailed documentation.
